Sketch and Stash 16 DT card

Well it's that time again for another fabby Sketch and Stash Challenge and that means a sketch by the talented Becky! I loved this sketch, and I also challenged myself and used a DL card! Papers are Anna Griffin, image Sarah Kay, coloured with Distress and SU inks. I have used Diamond glaze on the watering can, and some papermania gems. Flowers are from stash and the leaves have been punched out with my punch. Thanks for looking and I can't wait to visit you all and your gorgeous creations hugS Jill xx

This is my entry for the Sugar Bowl challenge, another fab sketch by Marlene, the option is to see some doodling, I've doodled around the image, image Sugar Nellie, papers I think are Dream street? flowers are from stash. I'm not sure if I like this card, think I've overdone the embellishments?


This is my entry for Just Magnolia Challenge, the theme this week is distressing, so I've distressed around the image with distress inks, and around the background paper too. Papers are Bo bunny, image Magnolia, ribbon from stash, flowers Prima. Layout is one by Nicky from a spoonfull of sugar a few weeks ago. thanks for looking hugs Jill xx

Sorry I haven't been around

Hi everyone,

just wanted to apologise to you all, my children are poorly, my youngest has been burning up then ok then burning up, and then yesterday my eldest starting burning up, we phoned the doctor and he was given an appointment, he had more than 3 symptoms so has been given the medication for Swine flu. I'm out of my mind with worry and keep checking they are still breathing at night and taking their temperature. I've been cleaning eveything in the house so we don't get it. I'm so tired but just trying to keep things going. He seems to be ok.
so I haven't been making cards or blogging, I promise when I get back to normal I will come and visit you all much love and hugs Jill xx
