Stamp with Sarah Kay

This is the first time I entered this challenge, but I loved this weeks sketch, it was easy to work with and I loved the way it turned out. Papers are SU and Anna Griffin, flowers are prima, charm from stash, stamp Sarah Kay and gems papermania. Thanks to everyone asking after Nathan, he came home safe and well and seemed to enjoy his first day. Still find it hard to believe he's at High School, where does the years go? Hugs Jill x

Sarah Kay Weekly Challenge

It's great not being at work I can finally do some challenges. I have done the housework first and done the washing and me and Millie (my daughter) have been making cards together, she loves getting all pens and papers out lol. It's also helping me not to worry about Nathan and his 1st day at high school only another 50 minutes and he'll be home (phew) my nerves are shot. Wow we have another great challenge House Mouse Monday, I don;t have any of these stamps but a won Trina's blog candy a few months ago and there was some House Mouse image in with it, so lucky for me I can join in this weeks challenge, (thanks so much Trina) Papers are all SU which I purchased through Julie, fantastic service and very quick delivery. Feeling a bit Ruff

Another great sketch from Claudia. This is my entry for Friday Sketchers One of my best friends Barbara is going into hospital today for an operation on her foot, so I've used this sketch to make her card. Barbara loves Yellow and dogs. Papers are SU (which I purchased through Julie), image is Elzybells, flowers are papermania, charm from Kraftycrafts and ribbon from stash. Sorry not be around much this week, been back at work and just haven't had much time for me. So I'm hoping I can use this card for PTW as it has faux stitching and CCT as it has water theme. Papers are all from Summer Driggs free Download, lace from stash, gems from papermania, flowers prima and stamp magnolia. Sarah Kay weekly Challenge

Another great sketch to work with this week. I like sketches as they help me when I'm lost for inspiration, which I have been abit this week. But I'm worrying about work and I think that's what has been bothering me. Never mind onto the card. Papers are all K&Co, Ribbon and Charm from stash, pearls from Joanna Sheen, Flowers Prima and image from Dawny P (thank you Dawny I'm loving them so much) Coloured in with Pro Markers, still not sure about these I keep going back to my watercolour pencils as I just can't get the shading right with the pro marker. Cross Stitch Tilda

This is my entry for Friday Sketchers and we had another fab sketch by Carole. I loved the sketch and will use it again. Now onto the card well, I must be having an off day today. This was the 3 Tilda I attempted to colour in, I tried stitching the paper with a sewing machine and ripped it beyond repair lol. So I cut out more paper and found some K&CO rub on stitches. I'm not happy with this card I don't know what it is but, it didn't turn out how I wanted. Flowers are Prima, buttons from stash and papers were free with magazine.
