Stamp with Sarah Kay challenge 16

Well this is my entry for Stamp with Sarah Kay, no sketch this week, you just have to use blue and Brown on your card. I've spent 3 days making this on & off. It's a simple card, but at least it's got me started again. Thanks for all your lovely comments asking after me, it really cheered me up and I'm feeling much better. The reason I'm so worried about my mum, well as most of you know I lost my dad to cancer just over 5 years ago (he was only 52), then 18 month after dad died, my mum didn't feel to well and was feeling faint and having headaches. So I made her go to the doctors. It turned out she had a brain tumour. Luckly it wasn't cancerous and they did manage to remove most of it. Mum's been fine, but her left side doesn't work as well as the right side and her sights not good. Well 2 weeks ago she had a funny turn and her sights getting worse and she's tired all the time. Then yesterday she was unwell again, she has to have an MRI scan on 13th November to find out whats going on, so that's why I'm been abit down in the dumps. Mum's all I've got left now and all the things that started last time seam to be happening again. Jill x

  26. I have been on your blog a few times and us always your work is beautiful. But my heart is heavy for you right now. When I lost my Dad I was angry at him for quite a while for leaving me and my family. I know how hard it is to watch those you love suffer with illness. If you have the time take a peek at my blog where I have posted a true-small short story. I promise your heart will feel a little better afterwards. Hugz
